Visual timers are a great way to help students with Autism spectrum disorder transition between activities, especially when they have trouble understanding or quantifying time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The child knows that they are in control. They can see the timer’s visual progress, which helps them avoid some of their frustration. You can show them the timer when they want to know how much time is left. This helps them make time a more tangible concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
